Bainbridge boys improve to 2-0

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity golf team notched their second straight win last Thursday, 131-116 against the visiting Eastside Catholic Crusaders at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.
The win at home left the undefeated island squad with an overall season record of 2-0, following their first win on the road the week before.
Brooks Wallace led BHS in points (26), with a final score of 36 on the par-35 course. His was the best score of the day and he finished the overall medalist of the match.
Both Brooks Lierle and Colin Campbell each earned 23 points, Thomas Crowley managed 21 and the team’s sole freshman, Zach Cooper, racked up 20.
Andy Becker, Tad Grindeland and Garrett Aichele all finished with a score of 44 (18 points).
The best score achieved by a EC player was 22 points.
