Signups start for Bainbridge Island roller hockey

Registration for the new roller hockey season will start later this week.

On-line registration for the Bainbridge Roller Hockey League runs from Feb. 1 through April 9; early-bird pricing for signups will last until March 15.

The league welcomes new players, and organizers note the coed sport is fast and fun.

Kids (ages 7 to 17) play in three divisions, and all games are played at the outdoor rink at Battle Point Park. The season starts in May and runs through July.

League veterans are able to assist parents in finding the proper gear for their players, and the date/time for the organization’s annual gear swap and information session will be announced soon.
