Playoff Update: Boys lacrosse defeats Eastside Catholic

The Bainbridge boys lacrosse team defeated Eastside Catholic 14-4 Friday at Memorial Stadium to advance in the WHSBLA Division I playoffs.

The Spartans took a 5-0 lead in the first quarter as Alex Crane scored off of assists from Jacob Goodman and Alexander Rabin while Cameron Parker, Sean Kennedy and Jacob Goodman also scored.

Jeff Foreman and Scott Bowman scored for the Crusaders to open the second quarter but Crane added two more before the half.

While freshman goalkeeper Reynolds Yarbrough and the Bainbridge defense did its part to deny Eastside Catholic any goals, Rabin scored twice more while Goodman and Parker also scored to put Bainbridge up for good.

The Spartans play the winner of the Tacoma-Issaquah game next Wednesday at 7 p.m.
