Input needed for Sakai park

Community members are invited to a planning meeting for the Sakai property from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 16 at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center.

The July 16 meeting is a follow-up to two other public meetings, held on Jan. 23 and April 23, during which community-generated work groups were formed to research topics related to possible park uses.

This meeting will wrap up the work begun at the first two meetings and provide an opportunity for the work groups to share any additional findings. From this work, a list of 10 possible uses for the park will be generated.
