1,600 island homes lose power Thursday morning

A “circuit outage” cut power to roughly 1,600 homes north of Winslow Thursday morning, according to a Puget Sound Energy spokesperson.
The outage began at 6:23 a.m. Power was restored by 8:15 a.m.
