Congressman Derek Kilmer will hold his third telephone town hall with constituents this week.
The telephone town hall is 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, and participants will have the opportunity to ask Rep. Kilmer a question or leave a message with their questions or comments.
“There’s a lot of uncertainty regarding budget issues in our nation’s capital right now and I want to make sure my constituents have an opportunity to speak with me about these important issues and more – even when I’m in D.C.,” said Representative Kilmer, a 6th District Democrat from Gig Harbor. “I look forward to having the opportunity to discuss why I believe that Congress needs to pass a real, bipartisan, long term budget.”
Residents of the 6th District who would like to join the call can sign up at http://kilmer.house.gov/contact/townhall or send an email with their phone number to kilmer.teletownhall@mail.house.gov with their name and phone number by noon on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Residents who sign up before the deadline will receive a phone call at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 inviting them to the town hall.
