Three finalists announced for Bainbridge public works director position

Trio includes public works director from Asotin County and Poulsbo public works director.

Bainbridge Island City Manager Doug Schulze announced the finalists Thursday for the city’s vacant public works director position.

The three finalists were chosen from a field of 30 applicants. All hail from Washington state.

The finalists are James Bridges, the public works director and county engineer in Asotin County; Ted Jones, the facilities management and sustainment product line coordinator at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor in Silverdale; and Barry Loveless, the public works director for the city of Poulsbo.

The finalists have all be invited to participate in interviews on Oct. 17-18.
