Washington State Ferries is advising ferry travelers to expect heavy traffic this Sunday, Sept. 15, as the Seahawks take on the San Francisco 49ers in their first regular season home game at CenturyLink Field.

The game starts at 5:30 p.m. WSF said ferry travelers should be prepared for long lines eastbound in the afternoon and westbound after the game.

Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase their return tickets prior to the game.
