Haunted Hayride debuts at Battle Point

This year will see the first-ever Haunted Hayride at Battle Point Park, presented by the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District.

Rides will begin every 10 minutes after 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 and Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Those guests brave enough will ride through the park’s haunted, pumpkin-lined trails, where ghosts, zombies, mummies and even some historical figures will emerge from the shadows to scare and delight.

A craft station and games will be set up to enjoy before the ride, with cocoa and cookies to help subdue your spooky shivers.

This is a not-too-scary, family-friendly event, officials said, with an emphasis on Halloween-themed fun.

The cost to ride is $7 for those 3 and older, anyone 2 and younger is admitted free.

Registration is required for your ride time (Activity #541000). Visit www.biparks.org or call 206-842-2306, ext. 118 to learn more.
