Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School has announced that enrollment starts soon for winter and mid-winter quarter and spring break camps.

Registration officially opens Saturday, Oct. 17.

BPA’s classes and camps help develop capable people as well as trained theatre artists and include skill-building classes, which provide the tools and techniques to develop up-and-coming performers, as well as performance series classes in which students can apply skills in a performance-focused experience.

The school recommends that brand-new students try a skill-building class first, though both skill-building and performance series may be taken in the same quarter.

Winter classes include: “Story Drama” for ages 3½ to 5, “Creative Drama – Hidden Treasure Adventures” for grades K-1, “Intro to Musical Theatre – Annie” for grades 1-3, “Intro to Improv: Yes! Lets!” and “Broadway Dreams” for grades 2-4, “Theatre Dance” and “Group Voice – Pop Songs & Radio Hits” for grades 4-and-up and “Action and Intention” and “Characters of Broadway” for grades 5-7 as well as “Teen Intensive – Teen Shakes” for grades 8-12.

Mid-Winter Break classes include: “Spy Camp” for Grades K through 2, “Musical Theatre Camp – Mamma Mia” for grades 3-5 and “Production Camp – Artemis Fowl” for grades 6-and-up.

Spring Break camps include: “Shipwrecked Camp” for Grades K to 2, “Intro to Shakespeare: Twelfth Night” for grades 3-5 and “Musical Theatre – Hairspray” for grades 6-and-up.
