Bainbridge Chorale is now enrolling students in both the Young Singers Choral Camp and the Olympic Girl’s Choir Summer Camp: Broadway for Beginners.

Do you love to sing and perform?

Come share the joy during the fun-filled week long Young Singers Choral Camp with Bainbridge Chorale’s youth director Laura Milleson. Spend the week singing and engaging in musical games and movement activities, while developing vocal skills in tone production, ear training, rhythmic and melodic notation, intervals and harmonies. The camp ends with a performance for family and friends.

Register through the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District at www.biparks.org.

The class runs Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17 at Rolling Bay Hall (10598 NE Valley Road). Students entering grades 1 through 3 attend from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and students entering grades 4 through 8 attend from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The cost to attend is $95 to $100 per student.

In “Broadway for Beginners,” girls age 10 to 14 can come and have fun with Milleson while developing confidence in singing beloved choral and solo repertoires from Broadway. While the focus is on fun, singers will work on reading music notation, developing accurate intonation and expanding their vocal range while performing as an ensemble.

The week will culminate in a performance for family and friends.

The class runs from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. Monday, July 13 through Friday, July 17 at Rolling Bay Hall. The cost to attend is $145.
