Island poet featured in national journal

Bainbridge-based poet and 2014 Island Treasure award recipient John Willson recently had two original poems featured on Terrain.org, on online journal founded in 1998 which publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews and reviews on a myriad of modern cultural topics.

Included with the text of the poems are audio versions, read by Willson. He also reads an introduction to each piece.

The first poem is, “American Toll,” which describes a National Park Service tour at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and the second, “Sign,” which relates the author’s experience hiking near the Tucson Mountains in Arizona.
