Make and market a balloon-engine car; engineer an earthquake-resistant home; create a website or wearable electronic art. These are just a few things young students can wrap their hands and minds around this summer during science, technology, engineering, art and math or STEAM camps.
Parents can now register their children for the district’s summer STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and math) camps at Captain Charles Wilkes Elementary School.
Camp dates for students entering second through fifth grades this September are July 20-23.
Intermediate students entering sixth through eighth grade this fall can attend July 27-30.
The deadline for enrollment is midnight on June 19. Some financial aid is available.
For answers to questions about financial aid, contact Christi Olive at colive@bisd303.org or 206-780-1054 prior to the June 19 deadline.
