City officials deserve thanks for closer look | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

The most cost effective plan to reduce traffic on Highway 305 from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal to Poulsbo is simply take two ferries coming off the production line and run them between Kingston and Seattle.

Cars and passengers that now come from Hansville, Kingston and Poulsbo can drive to Kingston for a 1 1/4 hour ferry ride to Seattle instead of spending at least that much time on the road and on the Bainbridge Island ferry. This would greatly reduce the traffic from and to the Bainbridge ferry.
