BPA Theatre School presents Winter Showcase this week

The Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School Winter Showcase is 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17 and Thursday, March 19.
The family-friendly event showcases talented students in third through 12th grades.
The performance begins with “Bainbridge to Broadway,” a musical revue featuring students from Broadway Dreams and Characters of Broadway. Written by Zandi Carlson and directed by Michelle Abad and Julia Beers, “Bainbridge to Broadway” presents scenes specifically written for the participating students. It strings together beloved Broadway classics and contemporary show stoppers in a never-been-seen-before, action-packed production.
Next up is one of William Shakespeare’s early works – “The Comedy of Errors,” directed by Tom Challinor. This Teen Shakes production follows two sets of unsuspecting twins. Though separated at birth, they now find themselves living in the same city. Mischief, mix-ups, money and mayhem run wild in this madcap comedy.

Box office hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.
