Bainbridge High will host auditions next week for its fall play, “The Laramie Project.”

The play recounts the compelling story of Matthew Shepherd, a young victim of a hate crime in Laramie, Wyoming in 1998.

Fall drama students and any aspiring BHS students interested in working on a play focused on human rights are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held from Tuesday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 25 in the LGI.

Students should prepare a one-minute monologue from a play or an original piece of work. Sign up for an audition slot in the library and bring an audition form filled out with an audition time.
