The Bainbridge High School varsity football team trailed the North Kitsap High Vikings 14-0 at the end of the first half of the season’s first non-conference game Friday, Sept. 5.

Despite maintaining possession for much of the first quarter, the Spartans were unable to penetrate the defensive curtain pulled down by the Vikings. That quarter ended with no points scored.

NK scored early in the second and the Spartans were unable to answer before the half’s conclusion.
