Bainbridge Police arrested a transient male Saturday morning when his mother reported he was intoxicated and volatile and wouldn’t leave her Winslow home as she requested after he had spent two days in her home.

She called police at about 6 a.m. and the 30-year-old man barricaded himself in a room after police arrived, breaking a window and other items in the room for about 90 minutes until police entered the room and found the man passed out on the floor. He was revived by aide personnel and transported to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton and then transferred to Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard.

He was charged with criminal trespass and malicious mischief.
