Twelve students of the Carden Country School on Bainbridge Island have returned from a unique trip that delved into our nation’s past and present.

The seventh and eighth graders spent eleven days on the East coast, visiting a host of historic and institutional sites from Gettysburg to the White House.

The trip was financed on their own through various fund raising efforts in the community.
