BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge Spartans earned their first win of the season in girls varsity gymnastics late last week.

The Spartans topped Roosevelt and Nathan Hale with a team total of 165,85 points.

The Rough Riders were second with 136.2, while the Raiders of Nathan Hale were third with 116.55.

BHS won with impressive showings in the floor exercise and the vault.

The Spartans finished with a floor score of 44.35, and a vault score of 41.8.

Bainbridge notched a 38.2 on the bars, and a score of 41.5 on the balance beam.
