Spartan soccer dances over Wolves

The Bainbridge Spartans tamed the Sequim Wolves in their final home game of the season 4-0.

BHS dominated both halves, holding Sequim to a couple of shots on goal and a few corner kicks in the entire game.

Although Bainbridge scored four, the team had countless opportunities to score more. The first opportunity came when Hudson Reynolds had a breakaway shot but the Sequim goalie saved it.

BHS scored its first goal when the referee reset the ball, and Sequim was not prepared. Sampson Murchie took advantage and fired the ball into the net. A few minutes later, Spartan Jacob Jimenez scored on a through ball.

In the second half, Bainbridge held Sequim to one shot on goal in the final minutes of the game. The Spartans tallied two more goals. Finn McCallum scored on a volley from a corner kick 10 minutes into the second half. Reynolds scored the fourth goal with seven minutes remaining.

Bainbridge has one final game at Port Angeles April 29 before its district play-in match May 2.
