Soccer team stalls in varsity play

The Spartan girls soccer team came up on the wrong side against two teams with licenses to kill late last week.

Bainbridge fell in back-to-back in double 0-7 losses.

First up was Seattle Prep last Thursday on the road, followed by North Kitsap in a Saturday, non-league matchup at home.

The losses dropped the Spartans to 2-3 overall.

The junior varsity squad fared better late last week, battling Prep to a 0-0 tie and then winning, 1-0, against the Vikings on Saturday.
