Dr. Branislav V. Popovich

May 5, 1927 – Oct. 30, 2016

Dr. Branislav V. “Brana” Popovich M.D. of Broomfield, Colorado, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 at TRU Community Care Hospice in Boulder, Colorado, after a short illness. He was 89.

Private family services will be held.

Branislav was born May 5, 1927, to Velemir and Vidovic (Mara) Popovich of Subotica, Serbia.

On Aug. 28, 1974, Branislav married A. Wynell Williams in White Plains, New York. Brana and Wynell moved to Bainbridge Island, Washington, in 1998 after he retired from his medical career in New Hampshire. They moved from Bainbridge Island to Broomfield, Colorado, in September of 2016.

Branislav is survived by his wife Wynell Popovich of Broomfield; his daughter, Sasha (Edward) Yerkovich of Lakeview, New York; and three grandchildren, Luke, Will and Alec.
