Coach Drew Keller talks with Craig Heisinger, vice president of Select soccer for the Bainbridge Island Football Club, during a calm moment at the registration desk Friday for tryouts for the upcoming club season.

Dozens and dozens of young players showed their skills during tryouts this week on the grass fields behind Bainbridge High. Tryouts started on Thursday and continue through May 18.

The club season starts with tournament play in the summer, usually three tourneys, with regular-season play starting in September and running until the first week of December. (More info at http://www.bifc.net/)
