Weekend weather report: Yesterday and days before | The Bainbridge Blab

Have you ever seen the rain?

Well, you will this weekend, according to the latest forecast for Bainbridge Island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Get set for a soggy weekend. Showers are likely on Saturday morning, and the day will stay mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 48 degrees. The chance of rain is 70 percent.

It will be a bit windy, as well. A south-southwest wind of 9 to 17 mph is in the forecast, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Showers are expected to continue through Saturday night, and new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.

On Sunday, more rain is likely during the day. It will be cloudy, and the high is expected to top out near 53 degrees.

There may be more rain overnight, and the weather isn’t expected to improve on Monday or beyond — with rain showers on the horizon through the end of the week.
