Bainbridge blotter | Nosy neighbor

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

SUNDAY, JAN. 28

12:59 p.m. A Bainbridge man, 45, told police he moved into his home on Wing Point Way in September but had been subject to constant harassment by a neighbor.

The neighbor was constantly walking past on the property, looking through their living room window while taking cellphone videos, and leaving dog doo in their yard.

He said they had argued some time ago after the neighbor asked landscapers to leave the couple’s property.

The neighbor denied the claims and said he was the one being harassed.

They were both told to avoid each other so there would be a “cooling off period,” which police said they hoped would help resolve the dispute.
