Bainbridge blotter | Hit-and-run near High School Road

TUESDAY, NOV. 14

8:29 p.m. A Poulsbo woman in a 2013 Kia Optima said her car was hit by a dark color Volkswagen Beetle as she was heading north on Hildebrand Lane.

The woman said the VW driver came out of the parking lot near the Starbucks and struck her Kia on the left front corner of the vehicle, but then kept going.

4:30 p.m. A 28-year-old Poulsbo man was cited for inattentive driving after he crashed his 2007 Dodge Ram pickup into the back of a 2002 Jeep going north on Highway 305.

The Poulsbo man said he looked down to turn on his GPS but when he looked back up, traffic had slowed and he struck the other driver.
