LT Yoson and Kathleen Thorne talk about where to hang selected student entries for this year’s Poetry Corners while standing in the dining area at Town & Country Market on Winslow Way Monday.

Poetry Corners, an annual competition and celebration of artful verse, places original poems in public viewing areas throughout downtown Winslow.

A total of 45 poems will be on display throughout April, which is National Poetry Month. Poetry Corners is presented by Arts & Humanities Bainbridge.

The event also includes Poetry Corners LIVE, a night of live readings at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art on April 25.
