From cats and dogs to birds and bugs, kids can explore the world of man’s best friends at the Pet Pals kids camp at Kids Discovery Museum.

The camp starts Monday, Aug. 22. Campers 3½ to 5 years old will learn about pet care through hands-on activities, such as bird feeder building or dog treat making, and visits from special animal guests.

The camp is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; cost is $140 for members, $165 for non-members.
