Merlin, Robin Hood grace BPA stage

The Magic of Merlin - 5 p.m. Nov. 10 at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. Free. The Adventures of Robin Hood - 7 p.m. Nov. 12 and 13 at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. Tickets: $10 per person.

The Magic of Merlin: This medieval adventure, featuring first- through fourth-grade Theatre School students, follows young Merlin, a boy who has no idea what powers he holds. As the story unfolds, he meets a range of interesting characters, finding that magic can come in surprising forms.

Adapted by Steven Fogell, and directed by Gabe Carbajal.

The Adventures of Robin Hood

This well-loved tale of “maidens, swordsmen, robbers, royalty, and mayhem” is presented by fifth- through eighth- grade Theatre School students. Robin Hood and his merry men steal from the rich and give to the poor. Set deep in the Sherwood Forest, the band must sidestep the Sherriff of Nottingham the Sheriff to prevail on their quest for social justice.
