The BPA Gallery presents “Into the Light,” fine art photography by Dinah Satterwhite, as its exhibition for December and January.

The show opens with a First Friday Art Walk reception at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.

Painting with her camera, Satterwhite captures light in a somewhat surreal and very imaginative, abstract way. The images are often mistaken for paintings, as she combines manual camera settings, motion, and natural light to depict a sense of graceful motion. They’re offered as metal prints, canvas wraps and acrylic prints. See more of her work at www.DinahSatterwhite.com.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk.

Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free.
