Roth is simply the better choice | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

There has been a commendable effort to lessen personal attacks and subtle innuendo, but this standard should be applied to both sides in the city council elections.

Charlotta Rovelsted’s suggestion that Val Tollefson’s endorsement of Wayne Roth is motivated by a desire to preserve white, male privilege is hardly in keeping with the more respectful tone demanded by supporters of Roth’s opponent. Perhaps Val feels — as I do — that Roth is simply the better candidate?
