This week in Spartan sports kicks off at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 as the Spartans boys junior varsity football team travels to Everett Memorial Stadium to take on the Seagulls.
Here on the Rock, Bainbridge welcomes Seattle Prep for a matchup in girls volleyball Monday.
Three teams will compete; the JV and “C” team both play at 4:45 p.m., with the varsity game at 6 p.m. in Paski Gymnasium.
On Tuesday, the Spartans host Peninsula in boys water polo at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center. Warm-ups start at 4:45 p.m.
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, the girls volleyball team heads to Sammamish to battle Eastside Catholic.
Both the JV and C games are at 4:45 p.m., with the varsity matchup at 6 p.m.
The BHS golf team returns home on Thursday, Sept. 25 to play Lakeside at Wing Point Golf Course. Tee time is 3 p.m.
Also Thursday, the Spartan “C” football team will get its shot at the Seagulls, as Everett comes to Bainbridge for a game at Memorial Stadium at 3:30 p.m.
The Spartan girls soccer team is scheduled to play Franklin on the road at Genesee Park in Seattle. Game time is 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
Also on Sept. 25 — the BHS cross country team will race against Ballard, Garfield, Ingraham, Rainier Beach and Chief Sealth in a meet co-hosted by Garfield and Holy Names/O’Dea. The varsity boys race starts at 3:40, followed by the varsity girls at 4:10 p.m.
The Spartan duffers return to action at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 against Ingraham at Jackson Park Golf Club.
Also Friday, the Spartan girls swim team will compete against Garfield at Medgar Evers Pool in Seattle. The match starts at 3:30 p.m.
The Spartan football team returns to the road after their big homecoming win last week. BHS plays Ingraham at the Northwest Athletic Complex; kickoff is at 7 p.m.
And this weekend, Spartan cross country runners will compete in an invitational in Portland, Ore. on Saturday Sept. 27.
The week wraps up with the boys water polo team hosting Kentridge at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center Saturday. The JV contest is at 4 p.m.; the varsity matchup follows at 6:30 p.m.
