The week in Spartan sports finds the Bainbridge softball and baseball teams at home, and the BHS girls water polo team in the friendly waters of the Bainbridge Aquatics Center.

The Spartans take the field at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 13 for a varsity fastpitch matchup against Ballard. The JV game against the Beavers is set for 5:30 p.m. on the fastpitch field.

The Bainbridge varsity boys baseball team also welcomes the Beavers for a 4 p.m. conference game at BHS. The JV team is on the road, and will play Bishop Blanchet at Viewridge.

Also Monday, the JV tennis team will host visiting Seattle Prep at BHS. The first match is at 3:30 p.m.

The varsity tennis team will play Prep on the lower courts at Woodland Park in Seattle. Action gets underway at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Spartan girls water polo team will host Bellevue for a game at 3:50 p.m. Monday at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center..

On Tuesday, April 14, the Spartan varsity boys soccer team will challenge O’Dea at Interbay. The match starts at 3:30 p.m.

The JV boys baseball team travels to Port Orchard Tuesday for a game against the South Kitsap Wolves at 4 p.m. at Givens Community Field.

The Spartans JV and varsity fastpitch teams are both in Seattle to play the Roosevelt Rough Riders, with the JV team playing at Green Lake Park, Field 2 and the varsity squad at Woodland Park, Field 5. Both games start at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, the Spartan boys JV soccer team hosts O’Dea. Game time is 6 p.m.

The Spartan boys lacrosse team also plays at home Tuesday, with a 7 p.m. matchup against Eastside Catholic.

On Wednesday, April 15, the Spartan varsity tennis team faces Lakeside in Seattle. Action on the courts at Lower Woodland Park begins at 3:30 p.m.

The JV tennis team hosts Lakeside at BHS, with play also starting at 3:30 p.m.

The Spartan boys varsity baseball team plays Ballard at Whitman Middle School. Game time is 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The JV baseball team will play the Beavers at 4 p.m. at BHS.

The Bainbridge girls water polo team travels to Mercer Island for a game at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday at Mary Wayte Pool.

The Spartan varsity girls lacrosse team will play on the Rock Wednesday, with a matchup against Snohomish planned for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at BHS.

On Thursday, April 16, the Spartan track team hosts a track meet with Eastside Catholic, Holy Names and O’Dea at BHS. The meet starts at 3:30 p.m.

The BHS boys soccer team travels to Mickey Naish Field for a 3:30 p.m. varsity contest against Bishop Blanchet.

The JV Spartan team will also take on Blanchet, with the game getting underway at Lower Woodland Park, Field 2, at 3:30 p.m.

The Spartans JV fastpitch team is also at Woodland Park for a game against Holy Names. The contest will be on Field 4; the first pitch is at 3:30 p.m.

The Bainbridge boys C baseball team will play the Wolves at 4 p.m.  Thursday at South Kitsap High in Port Orchard.

On Friday, April 17, members of the varsity Spartan crew head to Eugene, Oregon for the Covered Bridge Regatta. The regatta runs through April 19.

The Spartan varsity boys baseball team will play Lakeside at Magnuson Park in Sand Point. The game is at 3:30 p.m.

The Bainbridge varsity and JV tennis teams play Eastside Catholic at Newport Hills Tennis Club, with matches starting at 3:30 p.m.

The Bainbridge boys C baseball team hits the road for a game against Ballard at Soundview Playfield at 3:45 p.m. Friday.

The Spartan varsity fastpitch team is also away Friday, for a 4 p.m. softball game against Bishop Blanchet at Woodland Park, Field 6.

The BHS boys varsity lacrosse team will also play Bishop Blanchet on Friday, in a 6 p.m. matchup at Bainbridge Memorial Stadium.

This week in Spartan sports wraps up Saturday, April 18 as the boys varsity track team heads to Pasco for an invitational.

The BHS boys C baseball team is at home for a double-header with North Kitsap. The first game is at noon and the second follows at 2 p.m.

The Spartan varsity softball team will also play Saturday, with a noon game against Skyline on the fastpitch field.
