The week in Spartan sports gets underway Monday, April 6 with the Bainbridge Spartans girls varsity softball team hosting Garfield at BHS. Game time is 3:30 p.m. on the fastpitch field. The JV team will take on the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m.

The Spartan boys junior varsity baseball team also plays at home Monday, with a matchup against Ingraham. The first pitch is at 4 p.m.

The varsity baseball team will challenge the Rams in a road game at Ingraham. Game time is 4 p.m. Monday.

Also Monday, the Spartan girls water polo teams are scheduled to battle Inglemoor at 8:20 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 7, the Spartan fastpitch team enjoys the second day of its two-day homestand this week against Lakeside Middle-Nine Mile Falls at 3:30 p.m. at the fastpitch field.

Also Tuesday, the BHS boys JV and varsity soccer teams go up against Franklin. The Spartans varsity team takes the field at 3:30 p.m. at Franklin High, while the JV squad plays at Genesee Park, also at 3:30 p.m.

The Bainbridge boys C team will compete against Roosevelt at home at 4 p.m.

The Spartan varsity tennis team heads to Seattle for a match against Garfield at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The JV team hosts the Bulldogs at BHS, also at 3:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, April 8, the boys varsity baseball team welcomes Cleveland to the Rock. The first pitch is at 4 p.m.

The Spartan boys lacrosse teams, both varsity and JV, will play Ballard at Ballard High. Action gets underway at 5:30 p.m.

The Spartan girls lacrosse team plays host to Garfield at home, with the game starting at 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

The Spartan girls water polo team is also on the road, and will jump into the water against the Rough Riders of Roosevelt at Sand Point. The match starts at 7:20 p.m.

On Thursday, April 9, the Spartan track team will compete against Cleveland and Nathan Hale at the Northeast Athletic Complex in Seattle. The meet starts at 2:45 p.m.

The Spartan JV boys soccer team will travel to Memorial Stadium in Seattle for a 3:30 p.m. matchup against Rainier Beach. The varsity team will play the Vikings at home, at 6 p.m.

Also at home Thursday, the BHS JV softball team. The Spartans welcome South Kitsap for a fastpitch duel that starts at 4 p.m.

The boys varsity soccer team also plays the Vikings this week, at 6 p.m. at BHS Thursday.

On Friday, April 10, the boys varsity baseball team will test Cleveland at Rainier Beach High. The game is at 3:30 p.m.

All three BHS boys soccer are home Friday, with South Kitsap visiting. The C game is at 3:30 p.m., with the JV game at 5:30 and the varsity game at 7:30 p.m.

The BHS girls lacrosse team plays Stadium on the road Friday in Tacoma. The game is at 6:30 p.m.

The boys JV and varsity lacrosse teams head to Issaquah, with action starting at 7:30 p.m.

The week in Spartan sports wraps up Saturday with the JV fastpitch team playing Shorewood at Meridian Park Elementary. The game is at 11 a.m.

Members of the Spartan boys track team will head to Mount Tahoma for a varsity invitational at Mount Tahoma Stadium. The Tacoma Invite starts at 11 a.m.
