Tennis clinics, doubles programs start soon

The Bainbridge Community Tennis Association is holding a new player clinic for adults wanting to learn the game of tennis this weekend.

The Bainbridge Community Tennis Association is holding a new player clinic for adults wanting to learn the game of tennis this weekend.

And for players wanting to dust off their racquets and practice against BCTA members before they hit the courts, the group is also  running a back to tennis clinic.

Both free clinics are from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Bainbridge High School courts.

The clinics will also be repeated from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 5. To sign up contact bainbridgecta@gmail.com.

The tennis association is also hosting Saturday social doubles from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the high school courts for adult players with some doubles experience up to 3.5 level.

Advanced doubles is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5. There will be a combination of men’s, women’s and mixed doubles for players with a 4.0 rating and above.
