A 76-38 defeat at the visiting hands of Garfield left the Bainbridge High School varsity boys basketball team with their latest loss Monday, their fourth in a row.

It left the island squad with an overall season record of 5-10 (3-8 in conference) and ranked 13th in the Metro League standings.

Garfield is in second place (10-1 in league play), behind only Eastside Catholic (10-0).

The Spartans will play just two more home games this season. First, at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 they will host Ingraham (8-2), then, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 they’ll host Lincoln (Seattle), the bottom-ranked Metro team (0-15 overall).
