SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High boys varsity golf team sent their second opponents of the year away battered last week.
The Spartans crushed Chief Sealth 132-25 in their second game of the year Friday, Sept. 12 at the West Seattle Golf Club.
The victory came only one day after the team’s victorious season debut against Eastside Catholic.
Sam Warkentin led the team in points, contributing 25 to their final score.
Nate Boegl chipped in 23 points as well, while Colin Campbell and Brooks Wallace both racking up 22 points for the Spartans.
Team captain Hudson Hausmann ended the day with 21 points, and Carter Kraus managed 19.
The top points-earner for CS was Casey Linzie, who totaled eight points.
The team plays their next opponent, Bishop Blanchet, on the road Monday, Sept. 15.
