Spartan athletes won multiple first- and second-place finishes during the Logan Relays earlier this month.

Bainbridge High hosted the Logan Relays on March 9. Defending 2A state champs North Kitsap dominated the competition with well-balanced boys and girls teams.

Highlights for Bainbridge included wins in the distance medley, 4×800 relay, discus and javelin, and the second-place finish of the 4×200 relay team of Morgan Leader, Lindsay Wienkers, Joe Misenti and Aerin Amore.

Gordan Sheltonjenk, Austin Harper, Mikelle Ackerly, Anna Misenti won first place in the distance medley.

Bainbridge also won the 4×800 relay with Nicholas Shiach, Eliza Townsend, Doug Ortyn and Maddie Bolejack.

Casey Brink won the discus event.

Taylor Wilson claimed first place in javelin.

Bainbridge was second in the sprint medley with Nich Allen, Serena Canner, Morgan Leader and Danielle Bogardus.

Joe Misenti earned second place in the pole vault.

Jack Odell was second in the high jump.

Maddie Bolejack placed second in the pole vault.

Gordan Sheltonjenk was second for the Spartans in the open mile.
