BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge Roller Hockey League’s annual Battle for the Point tournament and barbecue raised more than $2,000 for the island institution this year.

Though originally scheduled for June 24, the event was rained out and rescheduled for July 8, when it raised $2,414.

The Battle for the Point was a day-long tournament featuring exhibition matches between teams in both DI and DII.
