SEATTLE – The Spartans easily defended their perfect record with a 20-7 shellacking of the Ballard Beavers in girls varsity lacrosse Tuesday.

Eleanor Collins led the stout Bainbridge offense. She scored six times against Ballard.

While Collins was outstanding in the field — she also had a groundball and five draws — she wasn’t alone. Eight other Spartans also scored in the contest.

Kendall Havill contributed four goals, while Bella Jackson added three.

Mackenzie Chapman added two more, while Hannah Elzig, Eleanor King, Shaila Perry, Abby Reibsamen and Madeleine Sherry popped in one goal each.

The Beavers could only muster 12 shots on goal, with BHS goalie Thuy Ortiz stopping most of them.

Bainbridge moved to 9-0 with the win.
