Jordan Foster and Evan Wright combined for eight goals as the Bainbridge boys’ lacrosse team defeated Skyline 16-4 in a WHSBLA Division I state semifinal game Wednesday night at Memorial Stadium.

Foster opened the scoring with one of his patented fake outs to draw the defense off and put one in the cage.

Bjorn Ostenson scored later off an assist from Sam Snow, but that was all they could get for a majority of the first half.

But after Skyline’s Austin Rogers scored, Bainbridge reeled off seven straight goals between the second and third quarter.

After Austin Strand scored for Skyline, Bainbridge went on another 7-0 run to effectively end the game and send them off to the championship game for the second straight year.

Dayton Gilbreath was named an All-American and a first team selection along with Snow, Max Olson and Bryce Stevenson.
