BAINBRIDGE – The Spartans will host Metro League newcomer Garfield High for both a boys and girls varsity basketball game during a special double-header event Friday, Dec. 12.

The action begins at 6:15 p.m. as the girls team takes the court first, with the boys slated to begin play at 8 p.m.

Earlier in the evening, the gymnastics team will host Nathan Hale for a home varsity meet in the gymnastics gym.

That meet begins at 6 p.m.

The two basketball games and gymnastics meet are the culmination of a day’s worth of home-based sporting events at BHS.

First, at 3:15 p.m., the girls JV basketball team will face off against Garfield’s JV squad.

Then, at 3:30 p.m., the boys swim team will host Roosevelt High for a varsity/junior varsity meet at the Bainbridge Island Aquatics Center.

At 5 p.m. the boys basketball C team will take the court against their Garfield counterparts in the Commodore Gym.
