MUKILTEO – Having suffered a 12-9 loss to Kamiak High Tuesday in their first outing of the postseason, the Bainbridge High varsity boys lacrosse team saw their season come to an end.

The Spartans ended this year’s campaign with a league record of 7-2.

“We were eliminated from state tournament with this loss,” explained Spartan Co-Head Coach Cody Bludorn. “Too many turnovers and sloppy play led to too big of a deficit to overcome.”

Bludorn said he was very proud of all of the players on the squad and already looking forward to next season.

“[It is] tough to say goodbye to the seniors, but all good things come to an end sometime,” he added.
