The Bainbridge High School varsity girls basketball team fought to their first win of the year last week, a victory at home against Holy Names Academy (3-2 overall).

The Dec. 11 matchup was the island squad’s fourth outing of the season and upped their overall record to 1-3.

The final score was 62-46.

Remaining at home, the Spartans hosted Roosevelt on Dec. 13, ultimately losing 49-41.
