BHS football award recipients announced

The Bainbridge High football squad announced the recipients of the annual post-season awards last week.

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High football squad announced the recipients of the annual post-season awards last week.

Gareth Grindeland was given the coveted Gordan Prentice Memorial Award.

The team’s offensive MVP was Ben Fisher, as decided by a vote by the entire roster.

Max Thomas and Sam Roth were co-winners of the defensive MVP award.

Cal Barash-David and Carter Daniels were co-winners of the special teams MVP award.

Thomas was also named “Best Blocker.”

Roth was named “Best Tackler” and Kyle Jackson was awarded “Most Inspirational.”

As decided by a vote by the coaches, Peter Lindsey and Alstofo Rueda were named the “Most Improved” players.

The staff also named Coltrane Brooks, Riley Dunn, Ben McDonald and Eric Jung as “Rising Stars” to watch next season.
