BHS boys on a three-game soccer roll

BAINBRIDGE – A 2-0 shutout against the visitors from Ingraham earned for the Bainbridge High boys varsity soccer team their third straight win, continuing the squad’s rebound after a disappointing 1-1 tie against O’Dea on April 10.

The latest win nudged the Spartans’ overall season record to 7-2-3 (7-2-2 in league) and earned them the third-place spot in the Metro standings as they prepare for the final four games of the regular season.

The shutout win against Ingraham was the most recent in a series of three victories which began April 17 with a 5-2 win over Garfield. Then, the Spartans turned around and claimed a close 3-2 win against Franklin April 19.
