MERCER ISLAND – Visitors from Palo Verde High School left a mark during a non-league varsity boys lacrosse match against the Spartans Saturday, March 28 at Mercer Island High School.

The final score was 16-6, Palo Verde.

Bainbridge goals were scored by Ben Biggers (one), Ben LaRoche (three), Ian Makin (one) and Nate Marx (one).

Rob Morris and Charlie Shrout again split BHS goalie duties, each playing for 24 minutes.

Morris managed eight saves for 16 shots and Shrout finished with six saves for 14.

The team would play the final match of three consecutive non-league contests at Mercer Island the very next day.
