BHS boys down 67-56 against Ingraham

The penultimate home game of the regular season saw the Bainbridge High School varsity boys basketball team suffer a 67-56 loss to the visitors from Ingraham Friday, Jan. 31.

Two games remained on the schedule: a home game against Lincoln (0-19 overall) on Tuesday, and an away matchup against Eastside Catholic (16-2) Friday, Feb. 7.

The loss left the Spartans with a season record of 6-12 (4-10 in conference), and ranked eighth overall in the Metro standings (tied with Bishop Blanchet and Chief Sealth).

It was the Spartans’ second loss, following a defeat against Nathan Hale (62-48) Jan. 24.

The island squad has been unable to string together more than two consecutive wins this year, and managed that only once (against Roosevelt and Cleveland on Dec. 13 and 17, respectively).
