BHS baseballers fall to NK

North Kitsap stunned Bainbridge in baseball last week 8-4, the first loss this season for the Spartans.

Both teams are now 10-1 overall on the season, but Bainbridge has won one more Olympic League game.

North Kitsap

The Vikings baseball team won a hard-fought game last week over Olympic 3-1.

In boys golf, NK beat North Mason 189 to 227. The Vikings also got by Bremerton 204 to 216.

In boys soccer, NK eked out a 2-1 win over Bremerton.

In girls tennis, the Vikings beat Sequim 6-1.

In girls fastpitch softball, South Kitsap beat NK 6-4. But the Vikings clobbered Bremerton 15-1. Port Angeles beat the squad 8-5 in another game.

In girls golf, the Vikings pulled out a 256 to 266 win over North Mason. But they did lose to Bremerton 266 to 274.

Bainbridge

The Spartans had the hit machine in full gear last week, beating up on Sequim 17-1. They also crunched Olympic 21-0.

BHS beat Olympic in boys golf 179 to 221.

In boys soccer, BI took a tough loss 1-0 against Silas. It also beat Bremerton 6-0 and North Mason 7-0. before its shutout streak ended. The Spartans are still atop the league standings with an 8-0 record, 9-1 overall.

In girls fastpitch softball action, Bainbridge fell to North Mason 10-8. However, the Spartans did beat Bremerton 15-8.

In girls golf, BHS improved to 6-0 on the season with a 202 to 228 win over Olympic.

Kingston

The Buc baseball team shut out North Mason 7-0 last week. However, the squad fell to Bremerton 12-4.

In boys soccer, the Bucs beat Olympic 4-1.

In fastpitch, Kingston was blanked by Port Angeles 17-0. They were also shut out by Sequim 5-0.
